Here Is How To Make Ginger Beer Home Brew Yourself and It's Easy
The first step that is involved with making ginger beer home brew is to gather all of the ingredients that you are going to need, which are: 2 liter bottle of mineral water, large chunk of root ginger (you need 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons of grated ginger), 1 cup of sugar,1 lemon, ¼ teaspoon of dried yeast, 1 small plastic funnel.
Lay out all of your ingredients and double check. Make sure that you have not forgotten anything, decant the water into a suitable temporary container, and then using a plastic funnel, pour the sugar into the bottle.
Now you want to add the dried yeast into the bottle through the funnel, then grate the ginger until you have between 1 ½ and 2 tablespoon’s, now squeeze the juice from one lemon, mix the grated ginger and the lemon juice together in a cup, then add the ginger and lemon mixture through the funnel and into the bottle as well, and then finally you add the water to the bottle.
Make sure that you fill it up about ¾ of the way full, and then put the cap on and shake the bottle until all of the sugar is fully dissolved. Then top the bottle up with water until there is approximately a one inch gap at the top. This gap is for expansion and to prevent the container from exploding once the yeast gets to work.
Now all you have to do is put the lid on as tightly as you possibly can and put the bottle somewhere warm so that it can finish. Wait a day or two. When the bottle is very hard, the ginger beer is done and ready for you to try.
Making your own ginger beer home brew is really incredibly easy. If you want to you can even add your own personal touch to it by adding in different flavors and ingredients.
